Music on Posters offers information and articles related to poster art and the bands and artists that inspired it. For decades now, music posters have adorned the walls of teenage bedrooms and student dormitories. But many people now collect them and some posters can change hands for serious money.
Original concert posters are often the most sought after and usually the hardest to find, especially in good condition. Anyone who went to a Beatles concert in Liverpool in the sixties and came away with one of the promotional posters would now obviously have a valuable item on their hands, not just financially but historically.

The categories on our main menu are just designed to give a quick kick-start in helping you to find your posters. Rock, pop, metal and rap speak for themselves. The Classic Posters category will lead you to some suggestions of what over the years have become famous images, instantly evoking memories of a particlular band or sometimes a whole era of music.
The 'other posters' category is not intended to be derisory, but is rather an invitation to explore areas of music not so readily associated with posters, whether it be classical, country, the contemporary indie/alternative culture or whatever your taste in music.
