Lost Prophets – The fake sound of progress

Here’s an indie band attempting the Welsh version of street
cred. They managed to find a savage urban setting for their photo
shoot (a shed with graffiti on it), then it was just a matter of
putting over a bit of indie style attitude to denote that they’re
still part of the underground music scene.
I must confess to not having realised that it’s okay to wear a pullover as long as the sleeves are rolled up – I’d assumed that knitwear would be well and truly out. The rest of the band don’t look too pleased, though, maybe he was the agent provocateur, deliberately placed there to make the rest of them look sufficiently disillusioned with things to get that indie feel.
This sort of thing doesn’t come naturally to most bands of course (photo shoots that is) and indie bands are no exception, at least in this respect.
